BELIZE (DISTANCE-LEARNING) CURRICULUM

Indian Church Village Primary School

Project Aquascope has been asked to design the distance-learning science curriculum for Standards 4, 5, and 6 at the Indian Church Village Primary School in Belize. Indian Church Village is a rural village in northern Belize. In Belize, public education ends after primary school (finished at age 13), thus requiring extra funds to attend higher education institutions--funds which many people do not have. Many of the students and families in Indian Church Village are under-resourced and especially hard-hit by COVID-19 (and more recently Tropical Storm Nana). This collaboration is truly at the core of Project Aquascope’s objective to increase accessibility to high quality education and to empower the under-resourced. Because of the sheer amount of curriculum that needs to be developed for these students, we are looking to expand our Aquascope team of volunteers. This project is ongoing, as we will be providing curriculum for the entirety of the 2020-2021 academic year. If you would be interested in volunteering to help us meet this high demand and impact as many students as possible, please fill out the form below.

If you are an educator and would like to bring this curriculum to your school, please contact projectaquascope@gmail.com.
